casa coquina is a monthly eating society to keep you warm through the winter.

Wil Hopson Head Chef and Owner along with the beautiful people at Coquina Restaurant, above the Hastings Contemporary click for address have launched a monthly supper club designed to bring people together at an affordable price.

Casa coquina is all about Mediterranean home-style eating. Casual, fun, long-table dinners with big sharing plates down the middle, served family-style and made for eating together. For anyone who attended our amazing Dove Cafe Chef Salam colab at Coquina during Refugee Week 2026; this is a continuation of that incredible night.

Ever since Coquina opened, they have been supporters of the project, helping design menus, offering trainee opportunities alongside providing industry mentorship and training. They are now offering our registered volunteers four places at each monthly supper club at an even more reduced concession rate, encouraging the sharing of food, stories and creating some new friendships along the way.

In recognition of the work our buddys do they have FOUR spaces each month for £15.00 per head. Simply contact Steph@therefugeebuddyproject.org to reserve your £15 meal.
