Dance for Refugee Week

Join us as we welcome Juan Leal, and our headliners “No Blacks No Irish” (consisting of the incredibly talented Hak Baker and Ginga Bill) alongside Horizon regulars David Marston, easy green, and Chabala for another cracking night at the Crown House.

We will be raising money for a fantastic local charity, The Refugee Buddy Project, as part of Refugee Week 2026! Juan and his sister Rossana fled the Pinochet regime in Chile and settled in Scotland. Rossana founded The Refugee Buddy Project in Hastings, and they do amazing work in the community supporting refugees. This is our way of supporting them, the only way we know how, by throwing a party at one of Hastings most beloved venues, the Crown House. All donations on the door go directly to The Refugee Buddy Project, with a minimum £1 donation.
